Fernande Klares-Goergen is a member of the Betzdorf municipal council since 2011, and is, among other things, active in the chorus ‘Ambitus’. For Fernande, it is central that children need stable relationships and people who are there for them. For parents to succeed in balancing their jobs and their responsibility to their children, new working time models must be considered that improve the work-life balance and create more time for family and leisure. Fernande would particularly like to see the staff in daycare centres, youth centres and schools strengthened in order to counteract later problems such as violence, addictions and depression. ⁣
